Qantas Singapore First Lounge Closure

Qantas has recently announced more capacity cut and most recently have confirmed that they will be rerouting the daily Sydney-Singapore-London service to fly via Perth instead. This follows the significant drop in demand to travel to Asia. Come April 20, Qantas will not have any more A380 flights into Singapore hence there will no longer be any First Class travel option.

The airline has also confirmed that the swanky First Lounge in Singapore will be temporarily closed, until September at least. This fine lounge has been the choice lounge for most eligible customers including OneWorld Emerald members flying out of Singapore. During the closure, eligible customers will be invited to use the Qantas Business Lounge which has been expanded last year to alleviate the overcrowding issue.
