Watch: Baggage Handlers Caught Helping Themselves to Passengers Bags in Italy

Travelling to Italy? You might want to think twice about checking in your laptops and valuables.

Baggage handlers at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci – Fiumicino Airport were caught stealing from passenger’s bags. The CCTVs were installed after several passengers reported their items were missing. The two suspects were working for a private luggage handling company.

About 41.6 million passengers passed through Fiumicino Airport in 2016 and employs around 40,000 staff.
