Lounge Review: Marhaba Singapore Changi T1

The Marhaba (formerly a Dnata lounge) – also the Priority Pass lounge at Singapore Changi Terminal 1 is located directly above the Departure Immigration Area of the Departure Transit Hall. Proceed through Departure Immigration, take the escalator to one level above. It is right beside the Qantas First Class Lounge. This lounge is located at the airside which means it is available to transit passengers.

The lounge is much bigger than other Marhaba lounges in Changi Airport. If you have more than a couple of hours in between transit, i would recommend this lounge for space.

Food is fair not great but they serve barista coffee – unfortunately it was closed when i was there at 10am. There is a drinks counter right at the other end of the lounge, which is great because you don’t have to walk to the other end every time you need a drink.

The toilets and shower rooms.

Flight Review: CX439 Airbus 321NEO New Business Class ICN-HKG

Flew Cathay Pacific's new business class on their A321Neo (adorable "mini racoon" nickname?). Huge upgrade from their older domestic seats! The wider, comfy seats impressed me. But the star was the recline. Unlike some airlines (think budget carriers), it wasn't just a footrest and lean back. This seat reclined like a rocking chair, distributing weight evenly and giving great back support – perfect for shorter flights!
