Lounge Review: JAL Haneda Airport Sakura First Class

The Japan Airline Sakura First Class Lounge at Haneda Airport is considered one of the best first-class lounges in the world, offering a luxurious experience to its guests. The lounge is located in Terminal 2 and is accessible to first-class passengers, as well as JAL Global Club and Oneworld Emerald members.

Upon entering the lounge, guests are greeted by a serene and elegant environment, with stylish Japanese design elements and comfortable seating. The lounge features a variety of seating options, including private dining rooms, lounging areas, and workstations, ensuring that guests can find a space to suit their needs.

One of the highlights of the Sakura First Class Lounge is its dining experience, which offers a range of Japanese and international cuisine. The lounge has a dedicated sushi bar, where guests can enjoy freshly made sushi by skilled chefs. Food is ordered through the app and delivered to your table.

The lounge also offers a range of premium alcoholic beverages, including rare Japanese whiskies and a selection of wines and champagnes. Guests can also enjoy a range of non-alcoholic beverages, including freshly squeezed juices and specialty teas.

In addition to its dining facilities, the Sakura First Class Lounge also offers a range of amenities, including private shower rooms, a massage chair, and a relaxation room. The shower room is available for booking through the JAL’s app too. The lounge also has high-speed Wi-Fi and a range of business facilities, making it an ideal place for guests to work or relax before their flight.

The Sakura First Class lounge has a private room called the RED Suite. As my flight was one of the last few to depart, there was no one at the RED private room. The RED Suite within the lounge was very exclusive.

Overall, the Japan Airline Sakura First Class Lounge at Haneda Airport is a top-notch lounge that offers a luxurious experience to its guests. With its stylish design, exceptional dining, and range of amenities, it is no surprise that it is considered one of the best first-class lounges in the world.

Flight Review: CX439 Airbus 321NEO New Business Class ICN-HKG

Flew Cathay Pacific's new business class on their A321Neo (adorable "mini racoon" nickname?). Huge upgrade from their older domestic seats! The wider, comfy seats impressed me. But the star was the recline. Unlike some airlines (think budget carriers), it wasn't just a footrest and lean back. This seat reclined like a rocking chair, distributing weight evenly and giving great back support – perfect for shorter flights!
