Eithad’s Alliance Program Crosses 20 Million Members

Eithad Airways Group own alliance program, Global Loyalty Company (GLC), surpasses 20 million members across Etihad Guest (used by Etihad Airways, Air Serbia, Air Seychelles and Etihad Regional), JetPrivilege (Jet Airways), MilleMiglia (Alitalia), and topbonus (airberlin and NIKI).

Eithad’s loyalty program is a unique one. It differs from the three major alliances (oneworld, skyteam and sky alliance) in that Eithad’s own or partly own these airlines.

Although they each still have their own frequent flyer programs, Etihad set up GLC in 2013 to streamline all the different programs under this umbrella. As MilleMiglia and topbonus also belongs to skyteam and oneworld respectively, members in these programs are able to earn and redeem across their own alliance partners as well.

Personally, I have never flown with Eithad but hopefully one day, I would be able to fly the residence.
