Hotel Review: Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Nai Yang Beach

Located just minutes away from Phuket International Airport, this resort makes the perfect spot for plane-spotting!

Upon arrival at the driveway, we were very promptly greeted by the doormen and escorted to the airconditioned reception lounge to checkin.

Checking was quick and easy, and during the process, we were offered a very refreshing glass of chilled lemongrass tea. Before long, we were escorted to a golf cart to be transported to our rooms. First stop, was the 1-bedroom villa.

We also had a second room which was a Pool Access Deluxe King room located a few steps away from the villa.

The biggest gripe about this resort is the beach which is not quite a swimmable beach. However, it does offer pretty stunning views!

Breakfast is served at the main restaurant which has both indoor and outdoor seating. It is not to be missed!

Big Fish is the hotel’s specialty restaurant and does very good seafood dishes.

Flight Review: TK168 Turkish Airlines Singapore-Melbourne Economy Class (Inaugural)

On March 2, 2024, TK168 departed from Singapore to Melbourne. Due to a last-minute rescheduling, the flight was light, with only around 50 passengers in Economy. However, Business Class appeared full, likely due to VIPs and media accompanying Dr. Ahmet Bolat, the Chairman of Turkish Airlines. The entire Business Class section was reserved for VIPs.
