Singapore Airlines is Western Sydney Airport’s first international carrier. Daily A350-900 flights start 23 November (SIN 11:30 → WSI 22:20; return WSI 23:55 → SIN 05:05). Tickets are on sale. Qantas and Jetstar domestic WSI services (Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast) begin 25 October.
ACCC authorised the SIA–ANA joint venture on Australia–Japan routes through September 2031 (scheduling, pricing, revenue share). Takes effect 10 September unless reviewed.
Scoot now serves 17 Indonesian cities; Belitung and Pontianak loads are strong. Adelaide–SIN frequency rises to 12 weekly from 23 October.
