Hotel Review: Holiday Inn Resort Baruna, Bali

I am writing this review in my huge suite here at the Holiday Inn Resort Baruna. As a Platinum IHG member, I was upgraded not to some corner room with a better view or a small Junior Suite, but to a HUGE One Bedroom King Suite with ocean views!

Every staff member at this resort is beyond friendly and welcoming. They always have a smile on their faces and never fail to deliver a level of service that one would probably only expect from a luxury property.

The beach here is in a sad state because it is littered with rubbish and is definitely not a place for an evening stroll or a swim. However, the resort has beautifully manicured gardens and a very welcoming pool. There are also several kids and teens play area and an excellent spa. One can never go hungry here because food is surprisingly good at any of the four dining outlets.

Holiday Inn Resort Baruna has certainly changed my perception of the brand!

Flight Review: TK168 Turkish Airlines Singapore-Melbourne Economy Class (Inaugural)

On March 2, 2024, TK168 departed from Singapore to Melbourne. Due to a last-minute rescheduling, the flight was light, with only around 50 passengers in Economy. However, Business Class appeared full, likely due to VIPs and media accompanying Dr. Ahmet Bolat, the Chairman of Turkish Airlines. The entire Business Class section was reserved for VIPs.
