Most savvy investors are frequent travellers too so it only makes sense that they are able to use their assets at a place they spend a lot of time at – the airport. Not only is this method of payment safe, secure and low in transactional cost, it also removes the need for one to get their heads around those confusing foreign exchange rates.

This initiative is made possible by thanks to a small local start-up, TravelbyBit.

Brisbane Airport continues to be on the forefront of technology having recently become the first airport in Australia to trial a digital departure card immigration process. It is also currently involved with the trial of a new digital boarding system through facial recognition where passengers are digitally processed at the check-in kiosk and departure gate hence removing the need for boarding passes.
